Harry passed away peacefully in hospital on 9th November 2024 in his 93rd year.

The dearly loved partner to John James for over 60 years (late of Sullivans Delicatessen, Whitley Bay). A lifelong theatre-goer and friend of the Theatre Royal, Newcastle.

Harry will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.

Please meet for a celebration of Harry's long life at Tynemouth Crematorium on Saturday 23rd November at 10.30am followed by a gathering at The Tynemouth Castle Inn, the Seafront, Tynemouth.

Please feel free to wear bright and colourful clothes as Harry would have enjoyed.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Actors' Benevolent Fund, Adam House, 6 Adam Street, London WC2N 6AD.

Quite a few years ago I worked in a cafe near Sullivan's deli.
John and Harry used to be customers .Later on they wanted staff in their shop.I got a job there and it was a laugh a minute.
Customers would queue up just for a laugh.When I retired I used to go to the boys home to see them.Then Covid came along so visits stopped.Sadly I didn't see them after that and another shopkeeper has informed me of Harry's death.
God bless you Harry.Thanks for all the laughs Love you and love to John.
